flat sides and rear sets

hi anyone got any idea where i may pick up a keihin flatside carb refurb kit and jets etc ? would prefer to deal with someone in this country--picked up a pair of duals with throttle assembly!! but would prefer solo's to go with malossi inlets but the world aint perfect!!
and also are the footpeg bolt mounting points on the 750SS/900SS the same as the 600SS?

Hi there,

I've struggled to find Mikuni spares at times - I suspect Kehin spare might be the same.

Possible suggestions - racing outlets, Dennis Trollope etc springs to mind.
Tuning houses - TTS performance? etc (can't find any on their website but they might know)

Finally - Chris Kelly at Ca Cycleworks in California seems to be 'da man' in my book for flat side stuff for Dukes - out of the UK I know but might be worth it for the knowledge:

Good luck - Frank

Nice spot Kev, hadnt seen that oneb4 and must be near to Nelly as well I imagine.

MM - sadly, no flatsides for me - I was on the verge of buying a set from Ebay germany once but I really cant justify that kind of money for what I think will only be a moderate performance gain on my 900 (over and above the 944cc that the bike came with).

Good luck and keep us posted though will ya! - Frank

i got them to go on my "spare"engine that is becoming a little project in itself- i picked the carbs up from a local scrapyard when i was hunting around for some taillights for a van apparently the owners son was into racing moto x sidecars a few years ago there was lots of different bits of bike laying around (couldnt recognise much tho) i think the carbs may have been used on a yamaha engine -i paid a pittance for them but with a bit of a clean i think they may be ok - well they fit which is always a good start!!!but the way my carbs are running on the bike on the road they may get used earlier than i anticipated!!!
i believe the flatsides give a smoother running thru out the range-the carbs on my 600SS only seem to be smooth on acceleration dont want to cruise much below 4500/5000 revs it becomes very lumpy and feels as tho its only wants to run on one cylinder till i give some then the thing flys and revs freely--- carb service needed i thinks!
