Just to be helpful i checked out the rev limiter on 996R this afternoon, it is definately 11,000rpm.

However a thought occurs the 996R comes wiv 2 ECU's as standard, one for the road legal pipes and one for the horrible noisy Termi thingies, which one do you have?

There may be the remote chance that the one for the legal cans has a lower rev limiter, but thats really an uneducated guess.
