Now what is strange is that your 749R does not have a 749R tank but a standard one , why is that then ?

Yes, it's a 999R.

I still don't know why it only locks to the right

JPM, does your 999R locks to both sides?

You need to check that the lockstop is not bent, this happened to my bike after i droped it. The lockstop is welded into the frame is mot very robust, Pete at Pro V's just bent it back but be carefull when bending it back.

Just checked my 749R and it lock on both the left and the right.

er i think youŽll find its just badly made like the one on my old 999s,
it would only lock on one side aswell

Mine locks both ways You must have a bent one

I personally think that you lock stops need to be adjusted
