Ducati Pegasus

Has anyone ever used Pegasus in Reading for a service, and if so how did you find them?

Only been there once.

Rang and asked if they had a part.

Made the long journey over.

No part - no apology- guy was to busy having anti virus / anti spam PC stuff explained to him than to bother with me.

I bought a 748R from there, brand new, £8500. No finance, how did I get treated, like a lepper once my cash had been handed over. they took my bike on a test ride in the rain, can you believe that, the thing was soaked and covered in grime. Didnt want to know when i told him the bike should come with ohlins damper and colour coded mirrors. I really think its a disgrace when you buy a bike whether its new or not and get treated this way.

But hey thats my side of the story, would like to hear theirs

Not trying to be critical about Pegasus, it's just that they are as close to me as On Yer Bike and I'm wanting to find who would be the best to use.

Devil deep blue sea keeps coming to mind.

May be best to look slightly further a field.

Trouble is you are always going to get good and bad comments about any dealer based on personal experience though with those two you might struggle to get many good ones. Have you looked at the OYB / Aylesbury open day thread???

Well I'm in Abingdon Dave...and I have used both Tecmoto and AJ Racing over the past couple of years rather than anywhere 'local'.

Its worth it for my peace of mind.

Having said that...'OYB man' did make a case for them improving their servicing dept. in recent months so who knows. If your bikes not in its warranty period...then you have halve a dozen independent centres within 60 miles who will come highly recommended by DSC members.

Baines
Protwins
Snells
AJ Racing
Tecmoto

to name but a few!

Dave as Harv says all the above are recommended, Pro Twins and Snells are official dealers if you are still under warranty.
