I wanted to be a truck driver (did class 1 & drove horses around the continents for a few years)

Wanted to be a vet, but the truck bit edged ahead, but got vet nurse quals & still help out in equine major surgery occasionally.

also....... wanted to be prime minister, but not much chance with my diplomacy skills so far

also wanted to win the grand national - so did national hunt as amateur (part funded by truck driving in my 20's) - and managed to at least ride the Mildmay course at Liverpool, coming a respectable 3rd in a novice chase



And now? - to earn shed loads of dough in the next few months, to enable me to have the time & money to ride my bike across Europe & onwards, Michael Palin style
