The chargers will not recover all batteries. Mine has just failed completely. same symptoms.
They are good at keeping a battery in good condition, but like everthing they will give up eventually and no charger will recove them.
also check the voltage across th ebattery with the engine running. if the regulator is shot and it's cooking the battery, than it'll be shot. again, you won't recover it............
