I've got the one Baylissboy won, and the ones that are on ebay at the moment, anyone got anything else?

Adam, nothing to feel bad about, you didn't do anything to cause the problem, and the whole point was you wanted a mint one. I'm gutted that you've got to keep looking / bidding.

Just glad I've not been to the bank yet, it's a lot easier to just rip the cheque up than mucking about sending cheques back and forth.

PO will sort it out, eventually, I'm sure. But they're bound to try to wriggle at first.

Anyone know if you can break these things for spares

With damage, I reckon you're looking at abour £125 for the Hodgson????

£125's better than I expected actually, but gives me a figure to work with.

So I'd be looking at a minimum £75 payout from good old Royal Mail then.

At least I know what to be aiming for (£200.00) and what to accept as an absolute minimum (£75.00)
