Digressing slightly, I had the first ride on my 888SP4 last night.

Good grief, what a beast ! It spits and snarls and growls and barks and goes like a scalded cat (er....some mixing of metaphors here, but you get the drift).

Someone this week (stand up Clippy) reported that he'd traded a 996SPS for a 998S because the SPS was too brutal....well the SP4 makes the SPS seem like a big box full of fluffy kittens.

I won't be putting too many miles on the SP4 but I have a feeling that every single one will be memorable. Now I understand what you 888 guys are on about....

Try one with Bimota Tesi race inlet cams (lumpier than the sps cams) and an FIM programable chip! That comes "on cam" very nicely
