My 'S' manual says there is a tool for adjusting the shock.
What they mean tho,is the crappy little screwdriver to alter the damping!Not that its needed as the bike has Ohlins and all the adjusters are knurled knobs.
As for altering the spring pre load,I use a selection of 'C' spanners.Its such a performance to adjust,I usually end up using a hammer and punch.
