Not to sure if it benefits the xmass ball fund personally i think its just a case of immediate clearing of the scene so the police dont end up hanging around for 2 hours waiting for someone to turn up , unfortunately the recovery people see it as a licence to print money , my bill works out at £145 for recovery , £85 because they had to crane it (load of b*ll*cks , it was moved to the side of the road by a member of the public with no trouble) and their charging £14.50 a day storage all plus VAT
