good one Tim. To me you looked a lot smoother on the bike than Cadwell. Would have been great to see all of race 1 on a big screen to see those position changes between you, TP and Andy (99). It is great to see the different battles throughout the field.

Excellent the way you do your reports, Tim. You definitely were going better than at Cadwell. Dibble, that's why he had to drag the Mrs there, cos he'd given the butler the day off. He cannot cope without staff.

And thanks for bringing the paddock stand. Now I just need to get it back from Ali

Was that your bike I saw at CC, Ruth; R900...whatever? No doubt I'll catch up with its owner one of these days.

Great day out, but sadly I was doing my beetroot impersonation by last night; that sun was a lot stronger than it seemed.

Maybe louigi wasn't so daft wearing that stupid hat after all...

I thought you were missing those gears on purpose in front of the main crowd out of that final chicane!

I thought you were missing those gears on purpose in front of the main crowd out of that final chicane!

Its just so frustrating when you're trying to get maximum drive for the long straight and you get a bag of neutrals!!!, not just once, but 2 or 3 times!!!

I won't bore you too much with the whole story but - bought some new boots (top of the range, wanted the best protection there was) - these caused me to struggle with gear selection - maybe its cause they're new?, so will persevere - moved the gear lever, better, but still not right, so went back to my old boots, but didn't move the lever back to where it was before!!! - bugga - more false neutrals!! - double bugga!

Its normally trouble on upshifts only (clutchless) that tlead to this, but a couple of probs with downshifts (clutched) into Quarry lost me 2 places each time - bugga!! and with the close racing you just can't get those places back easily if at all.

Woteva! - its still such a great thrill to be out there with a great bunch of like-minded nutters.

The thrill and adrenaline rush of being on the start line waiting for the red light to go on---off - is an experience everyone remotely interested in bike racing should have!!

Bring on Snett - I might go for a reverse gear pattern for this - but better practice that first too!!!

Now where did I leave those boots I used in the last century!!!!

Tim
