I too am something of a convert to the K5
I hired a blue / white K4, and THE bike that caused the most interest was yours, black, original or after market pipe, it mattered not.
Fab bit of kit.
Miss the engine braking, the Ducati name / experience and the ethos but the K5, if it's really such a quantum leap forward from the K4, must be simply ming blowing.
I found the fueling was very on/ off at the very start of the throttle travel on the bog standard bike I hired.
Oddly enough, I thought I'd miss the Duke pretty badly, as I had been to the IOM TT on a 748 for the past 2 years, but it was not the case.
748R's still give me buzz to look at and hear, but the K5 is THE one to have right now from all the looks she attracts where ever she's parked up, and for the record, the K4 was a simply stunning piece of machinery and I loved her. Only saw 140 mph on the clock as Ichickened out giving it any more an the public roads - plus there was a bend up ahead with a dry stone wall rapidly approaching!

Good choice imho.

Tim
