Chillo,

Been to Elvington as well with the Javelin lot. The place is a well known tyre killer. 4 to six in one day is not unusual.
Auto 66 run clubbie bike racing on there and also used for runs up and down for F1 cars until the locals got into full NIMBY mode.

Anyone who goes at any sort of pace end up on three wheels the grip is BIG and road suspension are the cause. The inside rear is the favourite on an EVO.

Don't kid yerself that it can't go all Pete tong there, If the run off area is soft and you hit it sideways you could end up on the roof, experiments are continuing!
There is also the odd Gully or earth bank to look out for if you are exploring the surrounding countryside!

Ray.
