Good point.

It's when the feds raid your house and you've got nothing but CDRs in stacks, and trying to explain to them that they really are legal that would worry me!

Although it's not common knowledge you can actually download the music from yoru Ipod back to your computer, and technically someone elses if necessary. Although this isn't supposed to be possible as it could infringe on copyright as you could fill your pod up and dump the lot at your mates house and give him up to 60Gb of music.

Ive downloaded, im guessing, around 500gig worth of stuff in the last couple of years, films, music, training CD's, absolutely anything I fancy, true, one day I might get done, but I know for damn sure Ive saved myself at least 10 grand on buying them off the shelf.
I download, then put on the ipod, or write to a CD and play in the car. With the amount of people on p2p, and the amount getting sued, you must be around 1 in 5-10 million of a chance. Its still a chance, like riding without leathers, but I simply cant go into a shop and buy a CD anymore... i must have jewish ancestry or something...
