Right, finally got round to having a look at this.

I've had the fairing off and checked the cable, and there's nothing wrong with that. The cable pulls cleanly and the quadrant on the throttle opens, but when the throttle is released, the cable goes slack and the quadrant stays stuck open. I can close it by hand, seems that it only sticks if it opens more than a certain amount.
I've given the springs on both front and rear a squirt of WD40 to see if that will free them up, but it doesn't seem to have made much difference so far - going to try again tomorrow...

Any more suggestions before I take it in to Riverside?
