| Registered Forum User Big Twin  Posts: 1,420 Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Nelson, Lancashire I remember missing out on them the last time (1980 ish) some older lads I knew were going down to London to see them but my dad would not let me travel that far at the age of 14. Something I held a grudge for a long time for! Likewise I could have seen Blondie in Blackburn in 1979 but I needed a new tyre for my bicycle which was the same price as the ticket, always regretted that decision  The Wall was the first double album I ever bought I remember walking to Ames records in the snow the day it was released with my saved up spending money. The sticker that came with the early copies of the record was still stuck to my old bedroom window up to about 5 years ago. eeeh memories  | |
