I sold my 1997 748 Bip about a year ago for around £3750-£4K ish (can't actually remember!)...but it was 100% mint with loads of goodies (termis, single and bip seats, ohlins rear shock, carbon etc.).
The guy (deej) who bought it really wanted it...I guess I was lucky in that sense, but since then, prices do seem to have tumbled a bit.
I honestly think, that unless you find someone who really really wants their first Duke, put on the open market, you will struggle to get anything over £3K.
