Origin B2 or New Road Angel?

Hi,I am thinking of buying a 'speed camera/blackspot detector',and have narrowed it down to the 2 units mentioned above.Does anyone have any experience of these, and can one be considered 'better' than the other? Thanks....

New Road Angel is excellent, and very easy to switch between cars. Complete plug and play.

If I remember rightly, the Origin b2 has loads of wires and is more of a hassle to install.

I've got a Road Angel Classic. I never use the laser detector (waste of time IMO) so I just use the GPS detection. Spot on, cheaper than the two you mention, and you can get a lifetime subscription for £99 (like I have). Bargain.

Out of the two I'd go for the Road Angel as it's easy to switch from one car to another.

Have you thought about a Tom Tom Go unit? Sat nav with camera locations all in one for around £350

Thanks 'Twinfan'/Darren.... Good point! It would be really handy to have the ability to swop between vehicles...I hadn't really considered that.
The 'Tom Tom' is a new one on me! I'll take a look

I can recommend the Tom Tom Go. The speed camera data base is a downloadable add on, along with points of interest etc. and is as good as the Geodesy I used to have. No radar though of course on the TT. There is a free camera database most people use at www.pocketgps.co.uk, updated monthly by info from users. Also available is one TT sell for £50.
Bonus is you get a GPS nav system as well!

I've got the New Road Angel, its simple, easy to use and swap to different vehicles. Pleased with it.
