my comments about what is available from a 853 is not derogatory just that you can ultimately get more out of a 996.
price motivated me in the end and it seemed cheaper to get the 996.
if the 853 kit had been less I would of gone down that road as you know

I know u were not having a pop mate and I did not take your post in that way.Just trying to say that each person takes their own route and has reasons for doing it. Thats all.

For me its boils down to not wanting to pay over a £1000 per year for insurance in central london. My R1 used to cost less to insure than my Ducati.

Laterz.................
