Correct me if I'm wrong but it is my understanding here are only three elemental ferromagnetic substances; iron, nickel, and cobalt. The element chromium is not ferromagnetic, but becomes more ferromagnetic than iron oxide as Chromium(IV) oxide (CrO2), which is commonly used in recording tape. Manganese becomes ferromagnetic (only) after special treatment. However, combined with aluminum and antimony, especially in the presence of copper, it forms highly ferromagnetic alloys.
