| They had a vw van engine but it was what porsche did to it that made it special. The turbo had performance 2nd only to the lotus esprit turbo at the time. I'm sure the Carrera was fast but I do not recall how it would compare to the turbo? It had sporty bodywork though more like a 944. You could get them sideways around any bend/roundabout for me the turbo was the ultimate drift car......Happy days. |
