Dear Webteam, a response for you .....

Dear Webteam

But what complete and utter ********.

None of the images either contravene the guidelines of the message board or were in fact hosted on the website as they were hotlinks to images posted elsewhere.

The reason I posted the "Poll" was to see what the general consensus was to the postings that I have made and I would quite happily have adhered to guidelines drawn up by the members themselves.

As the "Poll" stood before I went out this evening the general view was that the majority (and thats the majority of "members") had no issues at all with my posts or the way they were posted.

There was some concern abou the direct image format and it was my intention to go down the linking route in future but to be honest, whats the point, you the MT have decided to be heavy handed and not only delete the two threads containing the what in your (the MTs) opinion are unacceptable images but also my poll from which I was hoping to find the answer to dealing with these topics in future.

Could you please explain the reason for the deletion of the poll ??

Could you also explain the where I have broken ANY of the DSC forum guidelines or rules.

I wouls lastly thank you for not bothering to treat me like an adult ........ sorry I don't tow the party line ... but that's just me ......

No doubt this thread will also be deleted .... if it is then that tells me everything I need to know.

Pietro

I could write volumes..... but it'd only spoil my mood before what should be a great day out. Have fun down Box Hill, but take care. No speeding.

I must admit, this seems a bit heavy handed. Dibble was trying to sort out things himself and doesn't seem to have broken any rules.

Why the harsh treatment? Have there been lots of complaints?

Sorry - just caught up on other threads. I guess there are pretty legitimate arguments for both yes and no to Dibbles pics. But I guess at the end of the day this is a Ducati Owners Club forum, and should be work friendly.

Sorry - I meant that in the generic sense, not the DOC sense!
