The carb heaters are a major bonus, the engine had a number of minor improvements, but the real bonus is not having to worry that your frame's about to crack, swingarm fall off, or wheel disintergrate....  They're definitely overgeared as standard. I saw 140 in fifth about 10 times yesterday (on my private test track), and 150 with about 800rpm to go, so I'll be investing in a 14t front sprocket soon!
