Do they need to be SP? I have a set of 'as new' heads with new valve guides, new valves and all new rockers unmarked low mileage cams plus shimmed ready to fit. They were never refitted to my bike, a 916 Senna after a small issue with the cam belts.....Doh!!!

Strangely I did fit SP heads instead with high comp pistons and G & A ? cams with vernier gear, all done expertly by AJRacing and beautifully maintained now by the fair hands of Nelly.

The heads were rebuilt as spares by AJRacing but I have never needed them.

thanks all for the tips,
DaveB916 she's already got std 916 heads on her & I was looking for the SP heads as they have hotter cams and also bigger valves (I'm led to believe !!).
I'll do some calling around to see just what I can get hold of.
