| it is always difficult to get everyone together pre race as people turn up at different times, stay at different places, maybe in a rush to get set up set etc.
i have mentioned it before, but how about getting outside caterers in to do a bar b q after the races, say, 5 o'clock?
all the racers will be there and most spectators should be able to hang around for an hour or 2?
whoever did the food at the apex trackdays did a good job.
one plate of grub and a beer/wine/soft drink per member?
got to be worth it for a caterer? 50+ meals in an hour or so.
i dare say you'll get the 'thats unfair spending club money on something i cant get to' etc but you cant please all the people all the time.
if it was my call thats what i'd do. |
