... to Pietro and everyone for your kind words. We already have a small place on the coast (bought when the prices were very cheap) at Salobrena and the new place is at the head of the Los Guajares valley about 25 minutes in from the coast. We will be flitting back and forth until the New Year when we hope to make the final move all being well. For those of you wondering where we're going please see:

and click on 'Close to everything and close to everyone' It's only 1,800 miles by road pulling a trailer ..... gulp

Hope to catch up with the Hants/Surrey/Sussex and Kent folks on trips back. Cheers H

But tantalisingly close to Almeria. I can see the logic.

Good luck Henners, if I ever find myself riding around southern Spain with a raging thirst for a beer (which would be all the time then) I'll know which door to knock on.
