Probably showing my ignorance here but I keep coming across this word and don't know what its real meaning is.

Can anyone enlighten me?

I believe it is an Italian reference to Ducati fans, Ducati faithfull etc, or possibly there's just a lot of dyslexic people out there

I'm sure someone more knowledgable will enlighten us both soon and welcome to the DSC board, strange creature

I took it to be 'those with a love of Ducati' but I admit my ignorance.

Any Italian speakers out there?
