Most basic dyno runs cost about £25 and are money well spent. Apart from giving you a baseline as to where to go in tuning terms, they also tell you where the engine is making the best power and torque, which helps plan your on-track moves.

I'd recommend going to the newest dyno available, regardless of location, as you want the most accurate data you can get.
