Anyone near KAIS (Atherton, Lincs)??

Hi,

Is there anyone living near KAIS Performance in Atherton that could do me a huge favour???

I sent a very nice rear shock up to them to be re-sprung six months ago, but they won't send it back for love nor money.

I've called Andy about 10 times and every time I get the same "Give me your number, I'll do it tomorrow and call you back" bo11ocks. I've never been called back and I'm sick and tired of trying to get it back. I'd love to be able to say "Just put the bits in a box and my mate will come round and pick them up. Then I can send the pieces to K-Tech who, despite being monumentally busy, seem to be able to turn things around in less than six months.....

</rant>

Thanks,

Ali

How far is that from Cadwell Ali?

Our 'big' mate Pooh (Ian) lives in Grimsby, Scooter916 also lives not that far away in Lincs, in Cleethorpes.

C, not having an iota of where this is, except in the same county

Ali,

I can do it for you, just ring them and tell them Shaun/Speed Couriers will pick it up for you, and let me know when i can get it. Might take me 5 months to pick it up though

Cheers Shaun! I'll let them know tomorrow when they fail to call me back.....

I don't care if you have it for five months, I just object to a company who've already had £500 off me taking the p1ss!

Thanks,

Ali

Dunno why they're dragging their heels, they're usually pretty good to be honest, but 6 months isn't acceptable, do the right thing and ship it to K-Tech or even Maxton

u2u me your full name, and details of the shock, so i get the right one, also if you want to send it to K-tech, let me have their address and i'll despatch on a next day service, no prob being in the courier trade.

What about your money back, £500 sounds a hell of a lot for a shock service/rebuild, you could buy a new one for that, from memory it shold only be around £150 for a respring and revalve.

It's Lancs not Lincs BTW

The £500 was for a new ohlins (+ overnight shipping that wasn't) after they couldn't turn the original rebuild around in time. I don't begrudge paying it, just the slack service afterwards.

I'll drop you my address on a u2u, but no hurry on delivery.

Thanks a lot.

I've just picked your shock up, and its on ebay now, if it doesn't make the reserve i'll send it to you in due course. I don't mind you bidding for it as well

Thanks Shaun! I'm pretty generous so you can keep 1% of what it makes. Please forward the rest to my offshore bank account, as usual.....
