Hi Richard -

I have a 2003 1000DS and been having a lot of problems with numb fingers. I installed some heavy bar ends that have helped some - but not enough. I have been thinking about the cycle cat risers as the next step. You sound pretty convinced. Any way you could send me some photos of what the bars look like on the bike? I do not know how to do that either....
