I'd bring it back to where you purchased it new and have them fix it - it's too new for you to have to deal with stuff like that.

Did you lift up the tank recently? When putting the tank back, you may have pinched a fuel line, causing lack of fuel flow and thus having the engine cut out.

If it happens again, stop and quickly open the tank. If you hear a large pop or alot of air rushing into the tank, you have a venting problem - a vent line is kinked or the vent valve is installed improperly or off.

When you turn on the ignition, have the tank open and look inside. if you see fuel squirting (instead of just moving), the fuel line in the tank is split or about to split. BTW, DON'T LOOK INTO THE TANK WITH A MATCH, OK?

Check all electrical connections as well.

BTW, is the bike stock or did you have anything done to it yet?
