It would work on a 4x4 with a 200kg towball weight, problem is if you exceed the manufacturers towball weight you likely to damage the chassis and floor of your towcar. I've seen a picture of a Rover 800 which had rear ripped out towing a large caravan which was way beyond it's towball weight, worked ok for about a year then they lost the caravan after going over a bumb was the rears final straw . Just imagine how you'd feel hearing the creak and then the sound of your bike being dragged along behind you
