You assume correctly providing you are a paid up DSC member on a certain date you would be considered for the 620 class, Last I heard the class was filling up towards maximum numbers so if I were you I would get hold of Chris Bushell and check with him. If the way is clear for you to enter then the later 6-speed 620's would be the way to go, so that would include the later M620Sie and Multistrada but 'm not sure about the 620 Sport (SS type)..
I should be at Cadwell from Saturday evening so feel free to wonder over for a chat although I will only have my 583 there as my 620 still isn't ready.
I say should be at Cadwell because for the last 24hrs I've done nothing as I am a bit under the weather, still got a few days to make a full recovery.
