Nice one Spen, reminds me of an old racing adage 'if the engine expires as you cross the line it's perfect-before the line is overtuned-after the line is undertuned'

Of course this doesn't apply if you are a drag racer-Alf Hagons J.A.P. engined sprint bike used to hole it's piston at about 200 yards, freewheel the rest of the 440 and still win............bloody fast over 200 yards mind.

At Brands Hatch last year the left hand carb' popped off 200 yards from the finish, bike was going so quick, clutch in and freewheeled to a win........
