I've been done a few times, I never use my Debit card in restaurants or over the net (use Credit cards instead) anymore, because that seems to be the place where they get copied most.

You should get your money back, I'm with Lloyds, and for my gripes with them in the past (like taking money out on the wrong days, for which they still didn't apologise) - they were excellent when it came to refunding the descrepancies. They credited the money back almost straightaway and sent us a form which we filled out, I guess its a bugger when you have to change accounts and stuff.

Likewise with Am-Ex when I got done a while back, the card never arrived and I got calls from them asking for payment, spoke to them over the phone and they sorted it out, withour any fuss. Just needed to fill out a form a few days later.

I never got any feedback as to whether they caught the gits or not - unlucky mate.
