| I never thought it would make such a difference but it does...You can stop on a sixpence & it's given me loads more confidence in the bike...Only thing is I'm encouraging my lad to come pillion with me but I forget to break progresively coz he's so light!...He moans about my braking!  I put a seat cowl on mine & changed the cans. I'd love to have a chop job done on the exhausts so they are underseat...But I think I'm probably ready for more umph rather than spending more dosh on him!  |

| Being a bloke who's known for being a complete burk at times and quite happy owning up, thought I'd share this with you. Picked up my 92 750ss earlier in the year, and suffered the same problem straight away. Except I could only get about 3 miles before she cut out. Had to wait about 5 minutes and she would fire up again. Eventually got home, feeling totally naffed off thinking I'd been sold a duffer. Checked everything, wiring, fuses, breather, pump and went out again. Same problem. Stuck her back in the garage and swore. 2 days later I lift up the tank again to start over, only to realise the seller had screwed down the fuel tap to only just open, so it was just trickling and filling the carbs slowly. Thats what happens when your other bike doesn't have a fuel tap. Forgot they existed. What a dope!  |
