MOT weighing bike ?

Just took the Zx12r for its MOT today and they put it on the scales, whats all that about ? The tester said it was now a requirement since using the computer for doing the certificate.

Like been at the doctors, but you cant tell a bike to stop smoking and cut the booze out.
Do you tell it to stay off the super unleaded.

Rich.

I think its braking force to weight ratio.

if they dont have a weight chart, or if the bike is modified, they weigh the bike....

am suprised they didnt have a modern bike chart for your bike

my Lawson was weighed back in Aug for its MOT, but is 80's bike - and heavily modded

Cheers.

The tester mentioned the brake force, but said that weighing only used to be done if it failed on the brakes, but now its compuslory ?
