| In hindsight I should have used a cutting disc on a dremel to part cut through the nuts. I did this on one of the other nasty looking nuts and the nut spun off after a few knocks with the cold chisel without hardly marking the stud. I'm not sure there is room for a nut splitter unless you can get mini versions. I hope the shiny pipes will be worth the hassle...
