The old bill came round tonight to take a statement - really nice girl. Turns out these chumps might be on an attempted murder charge as they rammed tha police car head on, then smashed into it on 3 seperate occasions during the chase..  They caught the passenger but cant charge him with anything and hes not grassing. No matter as the police are fairly confident who the driver is and forensics will easily be able to put him at the scene. Theyve asked if i'd be happy giving evidence in court. Really dont know what to do...Gloucesters a bit too close to Swindon for my liking..what would you do..? On a lighter note the WPC was loveley and asked my 4 year old son if he would like to come outside to sit in the car and put all the lights on - that kinda restored my faith in the polcie to be honest as my last few (traffic) brushes with them have been less than inspiring to say the least !!
