| You see I tried the cheap 620 we bought at the brands td, and realised that the 620 engine could be worth the extra money cos it felt so much better then the 675, so hatched a cunning plan to try and find a way of running in both classes (old and modern ?) without taking all winter prepping yet another bike.
Checked with the mc that I was eligible for 583 cos I read the regs (!) but was reassured, so filled out a form to enter both classes.
I ended up buying rattler's, and took delivery at the w/end.
All sorted for 06 !!!?
I then got phone calls to 'slow me down' a bit.
ok - fair enough - if 583's are to be ring-fenced for novices, then I'm not eligible. whatever.
BUT - if I only had the bb - what was I expected to do next year ?
Was I (or whoever) expected to 'just' shell out the money (3k5) and 'just' change classes ? |
