| The Blade .. ... after owning the 996R and being so worried about damaging it I couldn't enjoy riding it, and then it was going to cost too much to get it to Spain I decided to let her go to a guy who will ride her and look after her. I had 1500 blissful miles on her for the cost of a pair of tyres so can't complain. Went to pick the Blade up from Bristol today to find that even after a full service and new MOT they hadn't noticed that the front brake was juddering so cancelled the deal on the spot. Did get a good blast on it around the Avon gorge in warm sunshine first so I know that it's a great bike and I'll carry on looking for another one. I will have another Ducati at some stage, however, for now I'm taking a rest. Love the look of the S4RS ....  | |
