I always heard that those carb heaters never really helped.

I mean, the engine has to be hot for the oil to be able to heat the carbs for easy starting. BUT, to get the engine hot enough, you have to have already started and run the bike.

IMHO, better solution is to properly jet the Mikunis or step up to the FCR's
