| 998BP vs CBR1000RR I've experienced the same handling problems on both  Both slow turning but stable and both stand up if you apply the front brake lent over and try to run straight on - raised rear ride height 12mm.Both front forks soft on factory settings - increased preload by 20% and compression damping by the same amount.
