Dave I went out Sunday morning with 200ml of Silkolene addertive in a full tank, and guess what---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Yep thats right it iced up like a advert from Icelands !
To be fair it has all the bad points that you mentioned above, open box, KN filter large main jets etc.
Next time I will try more Silkolene and see if that does the trick ! Oh and another suggestion is higher grade fuel such as Opitmax or similar.
The call to uncle Al (AK) is looming fast.
I can ride it when its iced but its no fun what so ever.
