A Brands photo - moments before the ejector seat manouevre ..

Amazing, these guys (PLJ Photo) were taking shots in the untimed practice session at Brands. This shot must have been one of the only 3 laps I completed shortly before jumping over the handlebars and breaking my ankle.

Oh well ...

You will be pleased to know that The Stableisers have now been fitted and the bike previously known as 12 will no longer achieve such a lean angle.....
Neither will the future 55 bike be as near the Apex..

Yeah I was feeling pretty good on the bike to be honest, the lap before I crashed, when that pesky Motorcycle Racer journo was holding me up, was a low 58. Once I finally got past him I was just trying to get good drive onto the straight to put in a good lap and asked for a bit too much.

Nevermind, there's always next year

I hope you gave her a good clean David! You could probably shave half a kilo off her with a good clean ...

Incidentally, I have some keys for you. The red key and a spare. I'm coming up to Nott's this weekend for a curry - do you want me to bring them up? Maybe leave them with Nelly or something?

That Journo bloke was wide wasn't he!
Only thing is I couldn't get past him... wasn't 'persuasive' enough!

Leaving Keys with Nelly will be fine(as long as he's OK), Thanks for that.
I have saved half a Kilo scrapeing Roos off the bike, Now will attempt to loose 10 kilos myself as its much cheaper than the buying bike bling, and an extra tubby race suit

Did you leave the little map of Aus on there?

That's both of us in that situation then! I need to shed a few kilo's I think. I'm getting a rooskin suit made at hideout once I've lost a few kg's ...
