Hmmmmm....

There have been debates on here about the pro's and cons of fitting mushrooms. Lessened damaged to visible parts against the trade off of possible (and less visible) frame damage.

R&G products make well recommended ones that on the older SS models - replace one of the engine bolts and then mounts the sliders on either end.

I think most will require mods / cutting to the fairing.

I have some very cheap ones on my 900SS that are just for show really in that the use one of the fastner points on the main fairing - the bracket holding it all in place is so flimsy really that if the bike ever went down, I suspect the bracket would detach first.
