I would imagine the christmas after being struck in your vehicle by an

unisured/untaxed/disqualified/wantedcriminal/non licence holder/mass murderer/bomber...............etc etc would be worse!

Why not use technology to see where these people are? its done with your credit cards, store cards, computer, internet, postal address.........
I dont see a problem with this at all...........

a few years ago when cctv cameras started popping up in town centres a lot of people started moaning about it, privacy invasion, human rights etc...but, look how many scumbags have been nicked for their crimes on the evidence of cctv, the tube bombers for example, within hours their faces were on every tv news channel........i have nothing to hide, so why worry about who`s watching me ? anything that makes a criminals life a harder one is ok in my book....
oh, and merry chrimbo one and all

Only if the powers that be employ enough police officers to follow up the intelligence gained.

And at the moment they don't.

I wonder why ?

its a joke, the police dont have the manpower to keep up with the criminals they already know about. this is just a scheme to help the police capture evidence to nick headline criminals.

a recent report by norwich union into a bunch of scammers was reported to the police, after the insurance company hired a private eye and collected names, addresses, CCTV, photo's, movement diaries, and proved that in one case 5 men had been involved in 340 claims in 1 year, either as witnesses, claiments or bystanders. The police simply had to go round an pick them up, they were told that they didnt have them manpower to follow up these sort of crimes. but the insurance company could pay the police time if they wanted it sorted !

And you wonder why your stolen bikes dont get found?

i've been trying to find the link to the report, will post it when i can.

so, moral of the story, dont worry about white collar crime, the police dont! The chances of getting caught with the wrong plates on are minimal and if you are what will happen? bugger all.

off the soap box now, thanks. happy new year!!!
