Welcome to Ducati ownership!!
How about,
1.Drain all engine oil.(That includes the oil that is trapped in the filter and the front cyl rocker cover.)
2.Remove clutch cover and dismantle clutch.
3.Inspect clutch for wear.(Plates and springs)

www.duc.nu/manuals/ 4.Buy replacement parts and oil filter.
5.Fit replacement parts and refill with oil.(Not fully synthetic!)
6.Enjoy!
