| I can't comment on the 749 in terms of handling or if its a good price or not, but as far as the servicing goes, it will need one before it is ridden.
Use this as a factor when negotiating the price with the dealer. If it hasn't been serviced for 2 years, then it needs the belts changing for definate, and iof they are going to do that, they may as well do a full 24 month service on it.
At a main dealer this will be £500+, at an independednt it will be 10-20% cheaper.
I wouldn't buy it without a service having been done, or a price drop to allow you to have one done somewhere else. |
