| My previous bike , 748R had a slipper clutch and yes they do make grating noises as you pull away , perfectly normal Do I miss the slipper clutch ?.......I have only unsettled the back end on the 999S twice so far by selecting too low a gear for the revs  but that's twice more than I would like , I think a slipper will be this winters mod   |
